The 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Sunday ad once again Tadashi has dressed a winner. Archie Panjabi took home the Best Supporting Actress Emmy and she did so in a chocolate off the shoulder beaded bodice silk chiffon gown from the Fall/Winter 2010 Tadashi Shoji Collection. Also at the Emmys was Ellie Kemper, who wore an evening sand fan-pleated tulle belted gown from the Fall/Winter 2010 Tadshi Shoji Runway, and Kate Flannery, who chose a strapless tiered gown from the Fall/Winter 2010 Tadshi Shoji Collection.

Saturday was the 8th Annual BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party and Amanda Righetti attended in this cute champagne vine beaded 3/4 sleeve mini dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Runway.

Last Saturday was the 61st Primetime Creative Arts Emmys and in attendance was the charming Jennifer Stone in a cream hammered silk crepe draped halter gown from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Runway. Also in attendance was the lovely Anna Gunn, who selected an Aztec blue iridescent silk chiffon draped one shoulder gown with jewel detail from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Collection.

The August 17th issue of Women's Wear Daily covers Tadashi Shoji twice. A featured article on frugal fashions includes a shot of a strapless dress gown with pleated fan detail from the Spring/Summer 2011 Tadashi Shoji. Tadashi is also mentioned in a section called "Ones to Watch."

In their latest Dress to Trill coverage, the Aug. 23 issue of the Nation Enquirer gave thumbs up to the lovely Charisma Carpenter, who had attended the premiere of The Expendables in a cream hammered silk crepe draped halter gown from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Runway.

Earlier this month both Amy Smart and Charisma Carpenter attended their movie premieres wearing Tadashi Shoji styles. To the premiere of the movie Middle Men Amy Smart selected a cream hammered silk crepe long sleeve dress from the Fall/Winter 2010 Tadashi Shoji Runway. Charisma Carpenter attended the premiere of The Expendables in a cream hammered silk crepe draped halter gown from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Runway.

Recently Tadashi participated in a massive 3 day wedding exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia. Tadashi has been custom making wedding gowns in the US for the last 20 years but has only been offering this service in Indonesia for the past 4 years. These custom made wedding gowns created for Jakarta exhibition are very romantic and the use of crinoline adds to the grandiose, lavish, bridal attire.

Tadashi firmly believes that the bride is not a doll but a woman who needs to be both comfortable and beautiful. The creation of these dresses begin with a sketch and is eventually fitted. During the fitting Tadashi makes sure the bride is able to walk and move around comfortably while looking gorgeous, glamorous and sexy.

We start off the month of August with an issue of US Weekly, in which appeared red carpet coverage of MTV's finale event of The Hills. In attendance was actress Lo Bosworth, who wore a cream stretch jersey macrame halter cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 Tadashi Shoji Collection.

Wendy Williams hosted her show in a black wave pattern beaded foil jersey cocktail dress from the Fall/Winter 2010 Tadashi Shoji Collection.
